Crawling as a Developmental Milestone: Perceptions and Clinical Practice
Project overview
Crawling is often considered an important stage in early motor development, but opinions differ regarding its role in clinical practice.
This project explores how pediatric physical therapists in Israel perceive crawling, how much importance they attribute to it, and how it influences their clinical decision-making. The study examines current knowledge, beliefs, and implementation in practice.
Understanding these perspectives can help bridge gaps between research evidence and clinical practice, and support more consistent developmental guidance for families.
